Fabulous food in beautiful surroundings We had a fabulous meal here on a busy Friday night. Staff were very efficient and attentive, but not over the top. Food was very good, the best meal we've had during our stay - the chicken Katsu curry was amazing.! Highly recommend a visit.
Return visit 'cause it was so good last time we were in Dublin. Great interior decor and atmosphere even though it was fairly quiet when we were there. Our table waiter, Vincent was outstanding and tended to us brilliantly. What an asset that boy is! Well done to the owners for giving him a job. Will be back for sure.
Charming Pub/Bar/Restaurant This historic building is a warm and friendly pub that has a bar at the corner and is connected to it's restaurant which is adjacent. The pub is classic with stone and metal accents as is was bank at one time. The main area has a great domed ceiling and the bar staff is super friendly as are most of the Irish you will meet. Get a pint of Guinness and enjoy the Irish company. Then if you need a meal.. move to the restaurant area and enjoy some Irish eats. The prices are reasonable and the food is great. Plans on spending some time here.. has to be one of the best pubs in the area.
So good we went back the next day We are first time visitors to Dublin. We are a family of four with two teenagers traveling with us. The Grand Central is conveniently located off the Abbey Street stop of the local tram in downtown Dublin. We decided to stop in for lunch. The food and service was fantastic! We went back the next day to give it another try. The food and service was great again.
