Loud bar scene Last night in town, and I wanted one last traditional Irish meal. I wanted fish and chips, and we went to a place that specializes. My wife vetoed that restaurant because all she could smell was fish. We walked a little farther down O'Connell and walked into Grand Central Dublin. Very busy but they found a table for us. We looked at the menu and found it acceptable. I ordered the Irish Lamb Stew. My wife ordered the Turkey and Ham Vol au Vents. Food arrived quickly. Very good tasting. I would order the same thing next time. This location is highly recommended!
Great food, great staff and great setting! I have been coming to this bar/restaurant for years now and the food never disappoints, Great selection on the menu and the food is beautiful , real home cooked dinners . We have a 10months old baby’s bed have been bringing here here often since she was born and it’s never too noisy, very family friendly . But what really makes the difference on every visit are the staff! They are so friendly , so welcoming and just so down to earth ! All the staff are amazingg but special shout out to Natalia who is just so lovely and always so helpful, she is a credit to the place :)
Food Great food. Natalia was an excellent waitress and the atmosphere was spot on. Highly recommend for a quick bite
Check this place out while in Dublin! Beautiful and very cozy place at the heart of Dublin, perfect for chilling after a walk in the city centre. Our special thanks to Natalia, who is very kind and smiley all the time. Staff really makes the difference here!
A Lucky Find Called in en route to somewhere else and never bothered going on ! Staff excellent and very attentive. Couldn’t do more for us, brilliant. Chowder was very good as was mussels. Guinness well served too. Diolch yn fawr from the (sometimes) noisy table in the back.
Lovely place to eat in Dublin City centre My friends and I ate here on the first days of this month. Due to COVID restrictions, we had to provide the staff with either vaccination certificate or a negative PCR. The staff was really kind since we entered the restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely .They have vegetarian options. The one I tried (Crisp Vegetable Katsu Curry) was marvellous. The food arrived really quick, and the staff was always around, kindly asking if we needed anything and if everything was alright. We were five and we spent around 25€ per person, most of us had Guinness pints and this price also included some shared desserts. I think the price matches the quality of the dishes. I would definitely come back if I head back to Dublin.
